Field care
Small, responsible food and water routes organised around safety, clean spaces and a realistic plan—not a crowd following one bowl.
ABOUT PAWSANSAR · 🇳🇵 NEPAL
Kukur Tihar reminds us that dogs deserve respect. Pawsansar exists to ask a harder, kinder question: what does that respect look like the next morning—and the next 364 days?
Care should not depend on a festival, a viral post, or who happens to be watching.
The idea
Street dogs are part of Nepal’s everyday life. Some are cared for by whole neighbourhoods; many still face hunger, heat, injury, fear and indifference. Pawsansar is being built as a practical community response: feed thoughtfully, share better information, show the good moments and publish the evidence.
We do not believe kindness needs to be performative. But money, claims and impact should always be checkable.
What we are building
Small, responsible food and water routes organised around safety, clean spaces and a realistic plan—not a crowd following one bowl.
Plain-language resources on safe feeding, body language, public health, injury awareness and when to seek professional help.
A transparency board linking consented donors, costs, receipts, bowls served and field recaps. No black box. No vague totals.
Our promises
What Pawsansar is—and is not
Pawsansar Nepal is an independent, community-led initiative. It is not currently presented as a registered charity, emergency service, veterinary clinic, rescue authority or government body. Information on this site supports awareness and responsible action; it is not veterinary diagnosis, emergency response or legal advice.
As the initiative grows, any activity that needs a local permission, safeguarding process, professional referral or formal partnership will be reviewed before it is represented as live. We would rather launch one thing properly than ten things vaguely.
A better normal
That is the ambition. If you can feed, volunteer, teach, document responsibly, ask the hard questions or simply notice more—there is room for you in the movement.
